A traditional English pastime, usually served between lunch and dinner, to tide oneself over (it can also be a light lunch). One scone with jam, Devonshire cream, two tea sandwiches, assortments of small cakes and your choice of tea. Puts the mind and soul and tummy at rest if you do it right.
All of the above minus the scones for Kids up to 12
Also a traditional English pastime, though a bit lighter on the tummy. You get one English scone with jam, Devonshire cream and your choice of Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Assam, Vanilla, Ceylon, Irish Breakfast or The London Cuppa. All culture shocks should taste this good.
Made with local organic eggs, these beauties are brilliant tasting with a conscience.
Manifests as: Ham & Cheddar; Quiche Lorraine; Spinach & Gruyere.
A fried egg laid atop smoked ham piled on Pugliese bread with melted Muenster, Gruyère & Dijon mustard.
Might be called the cornerstone of our culinary array. Fluffier than cornerstone though.

Your choice of meat with local organic egg and sharp cheddar cheese on a toasted English muffin.

The Bacon Butty
This is a bacon sandwich. No more need be uttered. Served on Pugliese bread and butter. Bread can be converted to toast if required.

Attempts to secure lunchtime sustenance outside of these hours may result in us giving you “that look” and henceforth some embarrassment on your part.
We proudly serve Billy Goat Chips. You may proudly eat them for
(and then humbly shake the crumbs from your pants, blouses, hipster T-shirts and leather chaps)
Also served with pride et cetera: Companion Bread
The Veggie Sandwich
Cucumber, lettuce, red onion and sharp cheddar cheese on Pugliese bread spread haphazardly with hummus. No animals were harmed during the making of this sandwich. May God on His English throne reward You.
The Brie & Apple Sandwich
A generous helping of Brie, lime marmalade and tart, smack-your-face apples panini pressed lightly on Pugliese bread.
The Turkey & Bacon Panini
Smoked turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese and spicy Dijon mustard panini pressed on foccacia.
The Grilled 3-Cheese Sandwich
Sharp English cheddar, Swiss and chèvre cheeses cross international boundaries and melt unilaterally with caramelized onions on Pugliese bread. One frightening step closer to the New World Order and/or heartburn.
The Croque Monsieur
A European café favourite. Let the continental snob within savour the succulent smoked ham piled irresponsibly upon Pugliese bread and asphyxiated in a pell-mell melting of Muenster, Gruyère and Dijon mustard. Let it congregate in your tummy with the Croque Madame you had for breakfast (see above). Maybe make a Croque Bébé.
The Cheese & Branston Sandwich
A definitive English experience (the good kind). Sharp cheddar cheese and Branston Pickle on Pugliese bread and pressed panini-style.
The Chicken Waldorf Sandwich
Chicken, golden raisins, walnuts, apples, pears, red onions and curry mayonnaise sauce on Pugliese bread.
Fresh sweet strawberries tossed with mixed greens and pecans in a strawberry vinaigrette, garnished with honey goat cheese, made from the elusive wish-granting, peace-loving honey goats of Zembla. No extra charge.
Apple Cheddar Salad
Tart apples, sharp English white cheddar, walnuts and mixed greens tossed barbarically, without mercy in a walnut vinaigrette dressing.
Chicken Waldorf Salad
Chicken, golden raisins, walnuts, apples, pears, red onions and curry mayonnaise sauce on a bed of lettuce. Note for history buffs: some believe it was for this dish that brave Sir Robin nearly stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
