DECEMBER 10th 2008 - AFTERNOON TEA IN ENGLAND

Afternoon Tea in England started out as a drinking game: you'd have to do a spot every time a whig made a convincing argument for the supremacy of parliamant over the monarchy.

If you want an actual, non-fallacious education on the history of afternoon tea and its cultural significance in England, you'll need to attend this cupping.

THURSDAY AUGUST 21st 2008 7PM - BRITISH TEA CUPPING (GREEDY KINGS & SMUGGLERS!)

In this cupping we will be sampling teas that have been and currently are popular in Britain while touching on topics like tea smuggling, greedy kings, The East India Co, tea clippers,The Boston Tea Party and high tea. Scones and jam will be served. Email for more information, call or come in for tickets. Spaces are limited so make your reservations soon! Tickets are $10.

Scott from Rishi Tea will be coming down from Minneapolis and brewing up a storm. Drop by and sample the new and finest from Rishi's new 2008 crop. Many fair trade & organic teas for which Rishi is known.
